The invention relates to an artificial feeding method of main species chafer, providing a biological assay insect source for screening of high toxicity Bt bacterial strain. The invention relates to methods of chafer larva high toxicity Bt bacterial strain screening, biological assay and toxicity comparison, thus obtaining bacterial strains of HBF-1, HBF-18, 185, etc which have high toxicity on cuprecusgreen chafer, yellowish auburn chafer, northern big black chafer and dark black chafer; meanwhile, a Cry 8 protein active inspection method and an insect resistant identification method of cry 8 transgene plant on chafer larva are certified. The invention provides bacterial strain resources for the biological prevention and cure of the chafer larva, and also provides gene resources for cultivation of anti chafer crops. The invention provides a suitable feeding condition and feeding feed for indoor breeding of the chafer larva, and provides a standardized biological assay method for prevention and cure of the high toxicity Bt bacterial strain and Cry protein and identification of insect resistant quality of transgenic plant.
