In the last few decades, India has been experiencing a major transition of leadership within family enterprises, which gradually includes generation X and Y (2nd /3rd generation onwards). Generational change impacts the ability of the organization to reinvent itself. The role of women (eg: daughters, daughters-in-law, wives and widows), and they can create impact within their organisations and communities in the Indian business setting is under-researched.
