Electron localization in alkoxy derivatives of polyaniline

1999
Abstract The samples of poly(o-methoxyaniline) poly(o-ethoxyaniline) and blends of polyaniline and poly(o-methoxyaniline) have been investigated for electron localization effects using dc conductivity, magnetic susceptibility and electron spin resonance techniques. These samples were doped with many organic acids, and they were synthesized with different oxidant to monomer molar ratios. In addition to usual localization properties, the study also reveals effects owing to changes in the oxidant/monomer molar ratio.
