Effect of selenium toxicity on free redicals in serum of swine.

Sodium slenite was added into the basal diet to evaluate the change of free redicals and correlation indexes in serum of swine.Results indicated that content of MDA,·OH and NO and activity of NOS increased significantly,and activity of SOD decreased significantly,showing that there was a correlation between free redicals and selenium toxicity.
