Study on Landscape Spatial Organization of Historic District Based on Visual Schema: A Case Study of Suzhou Area

With historic district landscape space as the focus of the study,the paper summarized the Suzhou traditional visual schema and explored its application of historic district landscape spatial organization.Based on three essential factors of landscape space, the paper proposed four historic landscape types from the perspective of space: nodes landscape spaces,streets space landscapes,overall landscape pattern and artistic conception of landscape.The paper discussed the organization of four major landscape space elements,mainly using case analysis and summary of the method, and provided reference for landscape planning.
