KERJA SAMA BADAN NARKOTIKA NASIONAL REPUBLIK INDONESIA (BNN RI) DENGAN THE OFFICE OF THE NARCOTICS CONTROL BOARD THAILAND (ONCB THAILAND) DALAM MENGATASI NARKOTIKA DI INDONESIA TAHUN (2019-2020)

Increasingly rapid expansion of drug abuse is fueled by the development of information, where communication between users, dealers, and suppliers can easily take place, becoming known as the extremely dangerous “transnational crime”. Indonesia and Thailand are two major drug wars, therefore BNN RI and ONCB Thailand are maximizing cooperation in the fight against drug smuggling, the two parties signed an agreement by forming and signing a memorandum of understanding between BNN RI and ONCB Thailand as a basis for a law of cooperation between the two parties signed in Jakarta on December 8, 2016. The study aims to see how the process of cooperation and implementation has been carried out by BNN RI and ONCB Thailand in dealing with narcotics in Indonesia by 2019 to 2020. There is one theory, and two concepts are used in this study: (a) Liberalism (b) International Cooperation (c) Transnational Crime (Narcotics). As for the data presented in this study is the primary data through interviews with numerous sources and secondary data through library research. The writer explains using qualitative analysis techniques. According to the study, the cooperation between BNN RI and ONCB Thailand in addressing drugs in Indonesia is categorized as four categories: (a) Sharing Information; (b) Sharing Best Practice, (c) Capacity Building and (d) Resource Empowerment in Alternative Development.
