Localization of specific antibodies in mesenteric lymph nodes of dogs vaccinated with EgM9 protein from Echinococcus granulosus by immunofluorescence technique

2010
An immunofluorescence method was employed to test IgG and specific IgG in the mesenteric lymph nodes of the dogs vaccinated with EgM protein, the dogs challenged with protoscoleces of E.granulosus post-vaccination-with-EgM or the dogs only infected with E.granulosus,respectively.FITC anti-dog-IgG conjugate was directly used to probe the whole IgG in the section tissue. To test the specific antibody responses against EgM protein, the recombinant protein was localized to the dog sectioned tissues, followed by binding anti-EgM specific antibodies. The results showed that IgG could be detected in the mesenteric lymph tissues of all the dogs vaccinated or/and challenged with E.granulosus.The dogs vaccinated with the recombinant protein EgM produced specific antibodies in their mesenteric lymph nodes.
