On Problems and Strategies of Development in Rural Banking

The development in rural banking has attracted extensive attention from media,academia and financial practitioner.But in China,the rural banking is still in its infancy.There are some problems such as lack of capital,high credit risk etc.So we should draw experiences from other successful countries,provide proper supporting polices and cut down inappropriate interventions from the government.Meanwhile the rural banking should standardize the market operating,set up irrational rules and regulations,define market orientation,conduct cross-competition,perfect supervising procedure,strengthen the prevention system of financial risks and create favorable conditions for its sustainable development.
