Identification of NeuN immunopositive cells in the adult mouse subventricular zone

We identified new cell populations immunolabeled by the NeuN antibody in the adult mouse subventricular zone. They were classified into two populations; one was mature neurons and a new component of the neurogenic niche, and the second was neural progenitors, which were further classified into two subpopulations.
