Direct-Writing on Paper of CPW-Fed Slot Antenna with Silver Nanowire Conductive Ink

2018
A CPW-fed slot antenna can be fabricated using high-concentration silver nanowire conductive ink needle-printed directly on photo paper substrate through a 2D programmable platform for 2.4 GHz ISM band applications. Firstly, the high frequency Characterization of the photo paper substrate is measured by two-microstrip-line method. The antenna is designed in HFSS and fabricated using a direct writing system with dimensions of 50*40*0.2mm3. Simulation results of the antenna's reflection coefficients and radiation patterns agree well with the measurements. Such direct-printed paper antenna has the advantages of low cost, easy fabrication, fast sintering, and flexibility.
