Notice of Retraction Simulation calculation on lightning overvoltage of hot-standby circuit breaker

This article introduces a circuit breaker accident because of suffering lighting invasion wave under the hot-standby status, proposes that outlet arresters should be installed to protect hot-standby circuit breaker. Uses electromagnetic transient simulation software ATP to built the corresponding simulation model, and to analysis lighting invasion wave overvoltage's influence on the circuit breaker. Concurrently, the article verifies increasing line insulation level's influence and outlet arrester's protective effect. The results show that: installing outlet arrester in transformer substation can improve lighting protection effectively.
