Preliminary studies regarding differentiation of tree stands with fir in the forest complex on the Mt. Żurawnica are presented, based on biological indicators of biodiversity and abiotic features using cluster analysis (CA) and discriminant analysis (DA). Historical aspects as well as their influence on present situation are discussed.
