espanolLa educacion a distancia cada dia demanda de profesionales comprometidos y conteste con las exigencias de la sociedad del conocimiento, donde las competencias, cualidades y el cumplimiento efectivo del tutor virtual, tienen grandes implicaciones con el exito o el fracaso del estudiante que se inserta en este sistema, que surgio con el proposito de traspasar las limitaciones geograficas y temporal, para ello se emplea la tecnologia en toda su expresion, y de esta manera construir comunidades de aprendizaje que se caractericen por la reflexion, la reconstruccion y la generacion de aprendizajes que den respuesta a los contextos donde se desempenan, y mas alla de ello a las demandas de la aldea global. Claro esta el camino no es facil, pero el compromiso es mayor, de alli la necesidad de que estos profesionales desarrollen todas y cada una de sus funciones, para poder alcanzar calidad en la ensenanza virtual, para lo cual ya se han establecido algunos criterios previamente.
