Study of electronic states in PBCO thin film on a-axis oriented YBCO film

Abstract Electronic depth profile of the PBCO thin film deposited on the a-axis oriented YBCO thin film has been studied using low-temperature scanning tunneling spectroscopy at 4.2 K. Preliminary results are reported in relation to the possible mechanism of the so called long-range proximity effect.
