An Adaptive Sliding Mode Control of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Based on Maximum Torque Per Ampere

2018
The paper presents an adaptive sliding mode controller (ASMC) based on the maximum torque per ampere(MTPA) control, which is proposed for the speed tracking control of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) servo system with external disturbance torque. In order to solve the problem, Newton-Lawson iteration method is adopted to achieve the distribution of d-q axis stator current under MTPA control. In addition, an adaptive sliding mode controller is designed for reducing the chatter and improving the stability of the servo system. The comparison of simulation results show that the proposed method effectively improves not only the dynamic and steady-state performance but also the anti-disturbance capability of the system.
