A Comparative Analysis of CDM-OFDMA and MC-CDMA Systems

In this paper w ei n vestigate CDM-OFDMA and MC-CDMA systems comparatively. The impacts of frequency offsets on both system sa re studied. Conventional CDM-OFDMA ,i nterlea ved CDM-OFDMA ,c on- ventional MC-CDMA ,i nterlea ved CDM-OFDMA and MC-CDM Aw ith maximum frequency diversity are considered. Three aspects are taken into account: system structure, parameter estimation and system per- formance. It is show nt hat interlea ved CDM-OFDMA is possibly more suitable for uplink transmission than MC-CDMA because of its less parameter estimation complexity.
