A Design of Improved Multipath Vector Tracking Loop Based on the Blind Equalizer

Due to the complex environment, multipath signals lose part of energy during propagation and lead to correlation function distortion. Considering that the position accuracy of the receiver will be reduced in strong multipath interference, vector tracking channel equalization algorithm is introduced to solve the problem. The iterative step size is adjusted by using tracking loop feedback as an error signal of CMA-DFE. The algorithm solves the problems of misjudgment rate and slows convergence of CMA-DFE algorithm with fixed step size, and achieved mitigation multipath interference. The experimental result of simulation demonstrates that the new algorithm can effectively inhibit multipath interference and compensate channels distortion.
