Provided by the embodiments of the present application are a signal measurement method and related equipment, comprising: a terminal, when measuring signals, determines whether the signal bandwidth of a transmission signal from a base station is switched or not; if the terminal determines that the signal bandwidth of the transmission signal is switched, the terminal measures the signal bandwidth or frame structure of the switched transmission signal according to a preset rule or a measurement instruction of the base station; and the terminal sends a measurement report to the base station so as to measure signals having varying bandwidths in a cellular mobile communication network.
