On the Four Conceptions of Nature of Traditional Landscape Aesthetics

Wild nature,rural nature,picturesque nature and artistic nature are four representative conceptions of nature during the development history of world landscape,from the aesthetic aspect.These four types of natural conceptions were generated in different physical geography environments and social and human environments.Their diverse core values lead to diverse aesthetic tendencies of landscape design and garden making,also to one of basic reasons for diversity of landscape patterns.
