Carbonate chemistry, Svalbard 2009 experiment

DIC was measured by M.-D. Pizay and J.-P. Gattuso on the AIRICA. Batch 95 from Dickson was used (S=33.3, DIC = 2017.04 μmol kg−1, TA = 2214.75 μmol kg−1). DIC measurements were performed using 1200 μl samples. For calibration, 1100, 1200 and 1300 μl samples of the CRM were measured, a regression line drawn and the area for 1200 μl calculated using the regression parameters. The correlation coefficients were usually > 0.99 (Fig. 1).
