Evaluation of Quality of Life for People Living on Subsistence Allowances for Urban Poor in Jinan

Objective: To evaluate quality of life of people living on subsistence allowances for the urban poor in Jinan and to analyze its influencing factors.Methods: 848 subjects were randomly sampled and interviewed with WHOQOL-BREF(Chinese version).Results: The WHOQOL-BREF scores of urban poor in the physiological,psychological,social relationship and environmental domain were lower compared with the norm of WHOQOL-BREF in China.Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that body health status was an important factor in three areas imposing relatively significant impact on quality of life;gender was also crucial,which affected the scores of psychological,social relationship domain;age and housing area were two important factors related to the scores of environmental domain.Conclusion: A comprehensive security system was urgent for the people living on.
