Study on polymorphism of IGF-1 gene in Anyi tile-like gray chicken.

The polymorphism of IGF-1 gene in Anyi tile-like gray chicken was studied.One mutation in the first exon of IGF-1 gene was found,which showed three genotypes.AA genotype was the most common,whereas BB genotype was the least popular.The gene frequency of A allele was significantly higher than that of B allele.Analysis of polymorphism information content showed that the locus belonged to intermediate polymorphism locus.
