An Anti-Interference System for Stationary and Moving Interferers

2021
Advanced radars, sonars, mobile communication systems, and radio astronomy systems are not immune to CW/wideband unwanted interference signals that can cause disruption, spoofing, and jamming. In this paper an anti-interference system for stationary and moving interferers nulling system based on minimizing the unwanted received power to a given threshold power level at a given direction is presented. The algorithm for the adaptive array applies appropriate phases (weights) upon sampling the converted RF power level to a DC voltage. Currently, controllers based on Arduino are used for feasibility. Using FPGAs instead has significantly reduced detection time.
