Dispositivos fotónicos integrados en LiNbO3

espanolEn este trabajo se describen diversos ejemplos de dispositivos fotonicos integrados fabricados en LiNbO3 utilizando tecnologia de difusion de Zn en la fabricacion de circuitos opticos. Se detalla el metodo de fabricacion de las guias de onda planas y acanaladas, y se indica las tecnicas de caracterizacion optica utilizadas. Se describen a continuacion tres tipos de dispositivos fotonicos integrados: el laser integrado de LiNbO3: Nd3+ como dispositivo activo, un emisor RGB como dispositivo no-lineal, y finalmente un modulador electrooptico basado en interferometros Mach- Zehnder como ejemplo de dispositivo fotonico integrado de tipo funcional. EnglishIn this work we describe several examples concerning integrated photonic devices fabricated in LiNbO3 crystals using Zn in-diffusion technology for the optical circuits fabrication. The planar and channel waveguide fabrication is detailed, and the optical characterization techniques are indicated. Using this technlogy, three kind of integrated photonic devices are described: an integrated laser based on LiNbO3:Nd3+ substrates as an active device, a RGB emitter as non-liner device, and finally an electrooptic modulator based on Mach-Zehnder interferometer as an example of functional-type integrated photonic device.
