The Cd(II) – Citric acid coordination polymer as an efficient sensor for the metal ions and organic molecules

2018
Abstract Developing coordination polymers (CPs) as sensors and exploring their sensing performance are crucial for extending the application of CPs. Herein, we prepared a Cd(II) – citric acid coordination polymer via a hydrothermal method, and explored its efficient sensing for the metal ions and organic molecules. The luminescence sensing experiments demonstrate that its luminescent intensities and peak positions are largely dependent on the solvent molecules and metal ions.
