To Distinguish the Language and Script: an Urgent Topic for Intelligentsia of China——Discussion for a Paper on "World Property of Chinese Language" in Guangming Ribao

Language and script are two important conceptions in linguistics.But the intelligentsia of China often confuses these two different conceptions.In the paper "the era when Chinese language goes to world" written by Mr.Zhang Tao,the author confused "culture cycle of Chinese script" and "culture cycle of Chinese language",and he tried to prove "Chinese language gradually becomes a language with world property",his prove has not any science basis.Prof.Lu Shuxiang said that macro linguistics knowledge need go into the classroom of middle school,so the intelligentsia of China need make up a missed lesson of this macro linguistics knowledge.
