Managing Competitiveness of the Enterprise: Theoretical-Methodological Aspect

Management as a general function of organized systems has a systemic nature; it is based on the systematic nature of labor and is connected with the development of productive forces of society and social changes. The main system-forming factor is the focus; it serves as a basic key for building a mechanism for managing the competitiveness of the enterprise. It represents the existing and operating system of organizational, economic, social-psychological and legal influence on the objects being managed at the achieving of the entire competitiveness of enterprises. Thus, the economic model of management of the functional integrity of the enterprise includes four components: productive, social, marketing, cultural and spiritual, takes into account not only the features of a market economy, but also the functions of activating human potential in the management of the enterprise. Effective functioning of the balanced mechanism of managing the competitiveness of the enterprise elements provides competitive products and the stability of the enterprise in a competitive environment.
