Non-targeted result detection for pen type computer system

1994
PURPOSE: To improve the precision of a system by deciding whether or not converted data are targeted by a computer user, outputting indication that the converted data are not targeted by the user, and outputting the converted data. CONSTITUTION: A recognition program 408 transmits a converted text and a command to a control program 406, and a non-targeted result detection 410 for deciding whether or not the converted text and the command are targeted by a computer user is executed. Then, when the non-targeted result detection 410 detects that they are not targeted by the user, the user is inquired whether or not the converted text and the command are accepted, and the result is decided. Then, when they are accepted by the user, the non-targeted result detection 410 allows the control program 406 to transmit the converted text and the command to an application program 404. When they are not accepted by the user, the converted text and the command are not transmitted to the application program 404, and discarded.
