Arastirmanin verilerini toplamak amaciyla likert tipinde hazirlanan ve 60 maddeden olusan, "Altinci Sinif Sosyal Bilgiler Programinin Uygulamasina Yonelik Ogretmen Gorusleri" anketi Konya Merkez ilcelerinde yer alan 144 ilkogretim okulunda, 361 sosyal bilgiler ogretmenine uygulanmistir. Arastirma sonunda elde edilen bulgulara gore sosyal bilgiler ogretmenlerinin altinci sinif Sosyal Bilgiler Programina genelde olumlu baktiklari; ancak bazi sorunlar yasadiklari sonucuna ulasilmistir. Programin daha etkili bir sekilde uygulanabilmesinin onundeki temel sorunlar arasinda zaman problemi ile okullarin mevcut kosullarinin yetersizligi en cok vurgulananlar olmustur. ABSTRACT The objective of this research is to determine the teachers' opinions regarding the implementation of the Social Sciences programme. In this research, survey search model has been used. A likert type questionnare titled "teachers' opinions regarding the implementation of the Social Sciences programme" has 60 item to determine the problems and has been performed in 144 primary schools in the city of central Konya with 361 Social Sciences teachers. At the end of the research, according to the findings, it is concluded that the Social Sciences teachers are optimistic about the New Social Sciences Program although they encountered some problems when implementing it. There is some basic problems about new programs; insufficient environment and timing problem were pointed out as the most imported shortcomings of the program.
