PENERAPAN PEMBENTUKAN SAHSIAH MELALUI MODUL SAHSIAH UNGGUL MURID (SUMUR) DI MALAYSIA [APPLICATION OF PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT THROUGH EXCELLENT STUDENT PERSONALITY MODULE (SUMUR) IN MALAYSIA]

Programs in schools whether through curriculum, co-curriculum or learning outside the classroom have a role to shape the character of students by emphasizing good personal values. However, based on data by the Ministry of Education Malaysia shows that there are disciplinary problems that still need a more thorough and effective solution. For that, KPM in particular plays a role as the main channel in emphasizing the formation of students' superior personality. The implementation of the Student Excellence Program (SUMUR) by the MOE is a program that is relevant to the needs of schools with the concept of modular activities throughout schooling at the secondary level. The assessments contained in this program help the students' well -being index in building their superior personalities. This study uses an analytical methodology and text study. This study involves in -depth research through books, articles and papers related to the formation of students' personality. The results of this implementation shape the personality of the student such as emotional intelligence, leadership, spirituality, involvement and superior resilience. The implications and recommendations submitted provide a beneficial picture to the ministry, schools, teachers and the community to improve the level of implementation of the shaper of student personality values as intended through the Education Development Plan 2013-2025.
