Discussion on occurrence and control of pine tip moth in Xiangtan County

The occurrence renson and comprehensive management measures of pine tip moth was analysised,through the investigation and the control experiment in Xiangtan County.The best comprehensive management measures was "Cutting off the dead tip and trapping the adult with black light lamp in overwintering generation and using chemical control and biological control in the 1-2 generation when the pest larvae was almost hatching".
