Extensive goat systems in Corsica: Sustainable know-how and development Abstract. In Corsica, the extensive goat breeding, in spite of an important decline, remains an element standing out with the regional identity and has important advantage for the Sustainable development of the island. However, the strong systems set up at the individual level seem little reproducible and little attractive for the future generations. The research accomplished here, leans on the revealing of cognitive and relational specific know-how susceptible to confer viability on these systems beyond the traditional technical and economic criteria.
