Environmental data transmission based on Linux and XML

To increase the reliability and consistency of environmental data exchange,the characteristics of XML(extensible markup language) is analysed.A new environmental data transmission technology based on Linux and XML is proposed.This scheme will first convert the datas from acquisition terminal into XML documents,and then resolve and visit it through DOM(document object module).Data encapsulation formats and the entire program implementation are presented.Environmental monitoring systems with this scheme is put into testing phase.Test results show that the transmission of the datas are accurate and reliable.
