Characterization of block copolymers synthesized by free radical polymerization

In order to estimate the reaction efficiency of the AB type block copolymers composed of polystyrene and polyethyl acrylate synthesized by free radical polymerization, GPC simulations were carried out. From the comparison of GPC observed by UV and RI detectors with molecular weight distribution curves simulated from kinetic calculations, the efficiency was found to be high.
