The Structure Parameter optimization Design Based on Surrogate Model and NSGA-II for the Overhead Weapon Stations

The firing accuracy of overhead weapon station mostly influenced by its structure parameters. The rigid flexible coupling dynamic model of overhead weapon station was developed. And sensitivity of some structure parameters were analyzed which affected to the muzzle vibration. According to the analysis results, parameters’ variances for reduced the muzzle vibration were chosen to be the objective functions. Combined with the engineering feasibility, the key structure parameters were filtrated. Then the Latin hypercube method was used to test the variable space to reconstruct the design space and optimized the structure parameter based on Surrogate Model and NSGAII. The results show that the muzzle vibration variance of optimized one has greatly reduce. And it is also can take a reference for the design and optimization to overhead weapon stations.
