On the New Advances in the Studies on Intelligence

Different psychologists give different definitions to the term 'intelligence' and they have not reached a common conclusion yet. The attributes of intelligence, the perspectives of researches, the development of intelligence and the individual differences in intelligence studies are included in the list of the major reasons for it. New advances in intelligence studies are characterized by the following respects: the studies on the attributes of intelligence are changing continuously, the studies on the nature of intelligence have gone through three approaches, the studies on the development of intelligence have proposed two perspectives of 'three hierarchical levels' , and the theories of intelligence have been updated endlessly.
