Development of the waterproof agent for damproof gypsum block

In this paper,the preparation technique of waterproof agent for improving the humidity resistance of gypsum block was introduced.The effect of hydrosilicone oil and acrylic acid emulsion on the coefficient of softening and strength of gypsum block were evaluated,and the properties of gypsum block were studied.Results show that:the waterproof agent not only improves the coefficient of softening of gypsum block but also has no effect on the strength of block.At the same time,all the property indexes meet requirements of JC/T 698—1998 "Gypsum Block".
