Development of Hybrid Energy Absorption Device Based on Voltage Level Adaptive

According to different electric lines of rail transit using different voltage level vehicles, the traditional solution is to use different voltage level devices for different voltage level vehicles to manually switch the line; it means high cost and low debugging automation. In this paper, a hybrid energy absorption device and a voltage level adaptive scheme are proposed. The system control principle is introduced, the system simulation model is established, and its function and performance are verified by a prototype. The results show that the hybrid energy absorption device can make full use of braking energy and stabilize the traction network voltage under the condition of rapid absorption. At the same time, the efficiency of production and debugging is improved.
