The langmuir probe influence on the measurement of the electron energy distribution function in O2 plasma

The influence of the probe thickness and contamination on the measurement of the electron energy distribution function is studied in a homogeneous oxygen positive column. The curve f(U) obtained by a thin cleaned probe is compared with f(U) calculated by other authors. The agreement is very good.
