Actuator for controlling the hydraulic braking pressure and this solenoid valve

2006
A solenoid valve for use in an actuator for controlling the hydraulic braking pressure includes a valve housing, a movable core, which is formed integrally with a valve stem and is received axially moving capable in the valve housing and a valve body which is constructed with a valve seat into and out of to be brought into contact when the valve body moves. The solenoid valve further comprises a yoke having a U-shaped cross-section. Even with such a U-shaped yoke, it is possible to form a magnetic path. Compared to tube-shaped yokes, it is possible to reduce its width and thus the width of the solenoid valve by an amount equal to the thickness of the tube-shaped yokes. By disposing of such solenoid valves in an actuator for controlling the hydraulic braking pressure so that the width directions of the respective solenoid valves correspond to the height direction of the actuating element, in reducing the size of the operating member is required, thus reducing its size in that direction is possible. The flanges of the yoke have first ends that extend along the outer peripheral edge of the coil winding in essence, in order to minimize the length of the flanges and thus the length of the solenoid valve.
