Technologies for Laser Surface Modification Treatment of H13 Hot-working Die Steel

The technologies of laser surface modification treatment of H13 hot-working die steel are intro- duced.The characteristic and application of laser solid transformation hardening,laser surface cladding,laser surface alloying,laser surface shock hardening are analyzed.The influence factors of the technologies for laser surface treat- ment and laser applications on hot-working die surface are studied.The existing problems of laser surface modification treatment are discussed.Research aspects in the domain are presented in the paper.
