PERAN PMII DALAM MENGAKTUALISASIKAN SYIÁR KEBANGSAAN DAN MENEGUHKAN ISLAM NUSANTARA DI JAWA TIMUR

Nusantara Islam has a national and religious thinking method based on moderation, balance and tolerance. This study aims to find out the role of the latest PMII in 2020 in actualizing the national symbols, and Nusantara Islam values ??of the as well as the inhibiting, and supporting factors faced by PMII in developing a critical, transformative productive paradigm to build a new civilization. The researchers used descriptive qualitative research methods, with literature study, and field research. The results of this study showed that the actualization of national symbols requires a new breakthrough which consists of two roles, namely the formal role and the informal role. The supporting factors for the spread of Nusantara Islam values ??are the number of PMII seniors who become lecturers, the number of pesantren around the campus that have PMII commissariates, many members who become students, the affiliation with internal campus organizations, and the number of members have NU backgrounds. While the inhibiting factors were the small number of campuses relatively, the uneven number of members and administrators, a lack of management capacity, and being oblivious by the name of NU.
