Vibration Signal Delay Estimation Based on Wavelet Packet Denoising Method

In passive localization based on TDOA, cross-correlation estimation was widely used to estimate the inter-station delay. Aiming at the low accuracy of cross-correlation algorithm for time-delay estimation of impulsive vibration signals, the delay estimation of vibration signals based on wavelet packet noise reduction was proposed. Different denoising methods were used to simulate the delay estimation of vibration signals, and the characteristics and performance of the methods were analyzed and compared. The simulation results show that the relative error of the vibration signal delay estimation is smaller and the stability is better after wavelet packet noise reduction was selected, and the accuracy of the delay estimation is significantly improved.
