Integrated guidance and control against ground fixed targets based on backstepping and input-to-state stability

2012
Based on the backstepping approach and input-tostate stability (ISS), an integrated guidance and control (IGC) algorithm for homing missiles against ground fixed targets is proposed in this paper. The model of the IGC system in the pitch plane is established, then the backstepping approach is adopted to design the IGC law so that the missile can hit the target with a desired impact attitude angle, and the stability of the overall system can be guaranteed as well although the model uncertainties exist. The numerical simulation results of the pursuit-evasion game show the effectiveness of the scheme.
