2.07 – High-Density Excitons in Semiconductors

In this chapter, we describe basic concepts of excitonic particles in nondoped semiconductors and discuss their many-body effects under high-density excitation. We present recent advances on the experimental study on high-density excitonic processes in semiconductors based on advanced laser spectroscopic techniques.
