La calidad en el servicio de criminalística de la Guardia Civil

espanolEl Servicio de Criminalistica fue una de las dos primeras Unidades de la Guardia Civil elegidas para la implantacion inicial de la normativa de calidad en la Institucion. Coincidio en el tiempo con la primera etapa de madurez del Laboratorio de ADN, por lo que se opto por acreditar los ensayos de esa nueva disciplina criminalistica como primer objetivo. En el ano 2003 se logro la acreditacion, siendo la primera de esa clase en Espana. Desde entonces el Servicio de Criminalistica ha conseguido acreditar el 50% de sus areas expertas, yendo a la cabeza en esa materia entre los laboratorios homologos en nuestro pais. Ademas, el Servicio de Criminalistica lidera el Grupo de Trabajo no 3 del Comite Tecnico Nacional de AENOR, la Asociacion Espanola de Normalizacion, conocido por las siglas CTN-197, que sigue de cerca los trabajos del Comite Europeo de Normalizacion CEN-419 sobre “Procesos de ciencia forense” que redacta, en nuestros dias, la primera norma europea de caracter forense de la historia. El Servicio de Criminalistica representa a AENOR en el mencionado Comite Europeo. EnglishThe Criminalistic Service was one of the first Units selected by the Spanish Civil Guard for the starting implementation of quality regulation in the Institution. This fact and the first maturity stage of the DNA laboratory happened at the same time, and that is why the tests of this new criminalistic discipline were selected to be accredited as the first aim. The accreditation was achieved in 2003, being the first one of this kind in Spain. Since then, the Criminalistic Service has got the accreditation of the 50% of its expert areas, being the leader in that matter among equivalent Spanish laboratories. Besides, the Criminalistic Service leads the number 3 Working Group of the National Technical Committee number 197, which monitors the works of the European Committee for Normalization number 419 on “Forensic science processes”. This Committee is currently writing the first European forensic guidelines in history. The Criminalistic Service represents AENOR in the above-mentioned Committee.
