An Efficient Approach for Electronic Voting Scheme without An Authenticated Channel

In this paper, we investigate a fully decentralized electronic voting scheme based on a privacy-preserving sum protocol without an authenticated channel. Our solution not only satisfies the most essential requirements for an e-voting scheme but also is convenient since it can be directly implemented on the public network without installing any cryptographic tool. In addition, the experimental results show that the total voting time of our scheme is approximately 20% faster than that of the typical voting protocols
