Purification and Immunological Analysis of Phospholipase D from Brassica Napus (Rape Seed)

1997
Phospholipase D has been purified to apparent homogeneity from the seeds of Brassica napus. Enzyme characteristics are discussed including the molecular weight, isoelectric point, pH optimum, effects of calcium ionts and SDS. The immunochemical cross-reactivity with proteins of soya beans and sunflower seeds was tested.
