Analysis of application foreground that GIS, RS and GPS are applied in Tibetan Plateau's study

The features and progresses of GIS,RS and GPS(3S) are introduced. The status and researched results are summarized, the foreground is analyzed and the application framework is designed that GIS,RS and GPS are applied in Tibetan Plateau's study. Databases' construction and information sharing based GIS, three-dimensional terrain model's construction and three-dimensional plaeo-terrian's reconstruction,Geo-Informational atlas are bases and should be made quickly.
