A method for the packaging production control and package assembly machine

The method is adapted for packaging production control and comprises the steps of: A) providing a packaging material (1) for beverages or liquid food, or solid food or feed or raw materials, B) attaching a marker material field (2) to the packaging material (1), wherein the marker material box (2) comprises one or more inorganic phosphors (21, 22), C) irradiating the packaging material (1) with electrons (e) so that the packaging material (1) at least in places, sterilized or at least a number of bacteria is reduced, D) irradiating the marker material field (2) with electrons (e), whereby a luminescence of at least one of the luminescent materials (21, 22 modified), and E) reading out of the irradiated marker material field (2) with an optical reader (42), wherein the phosphors (21, 22) are optically excited and wherein a spectrally integrated, time course of luminescence of the luminescent materials (21, 22) is measured and evaluated.
